Dave Rattigan

It took a pandemic to slow down Dave Rattigan, one of Boston’s busiest comedians, who used the break to develop a mini-social media series called Covid Variety, as well as a virtual version of his Put Laughter in Your Life seminar on improving your life by changing your perspective, available to libraries and private companies. He returns to the stage in July 2020 at the MMAS, where he performed on New Year’s Eve 2017. His CD, Dave Rattigan: Thinks He’s Funny CD was played on Sirius Satellite Radio and he’s written humorous pieces for several publications, including The Boston Globe and Christian Science Monitor. He wrote and produced funny webisodes from the Post Office Golf League series, and also acted in the independent film Heavy Times and in commercials for iParty and Olympia Sports. He’s performed several times on the syndicated Steve Katsos Show, doing standup as well as a behind-the-scenes piece.

Carolyn Riley

New York-based Carolyn Riley (2016) is a former Funniest Person in Massachusetts (2018) winner who before that was judged Funniest Student at the University of New Hampshire (2016). She’s been on Sirius Satellite Radio, opened for national headliners including Juston McKinney and Jimmy Dunn, and is a regular at the Hampton Beach Comedy Festival.

Alex Giampapa

“The nicest cynic you'll ever meet," Alex Giampapa began performing stand up in Boston at the age of 19 and became a popular act across New England. Now splitting time between Boston and New York City, he’s shared the stage with legendary comedians such as Bill Burr, Hannibal Buress, and Gary Gulman as well as opening for Adam Devine and Erik Griffin of Workaholics fame. A 2018 selection for both the Big Pine Comedy Festival in Flagstaff, AZ and The Boston Comedy Festival, he's also competed in The World Series of Comedy, was a three-time finalist in The Beantown Comedy Riots, and has been featured in The Salem Comedy Festival (Salem, MA), The Motor City Comedy Festival (Detroit, MI) and The Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival (San Francisco, CA).

James Hamilton

James Hamilton has made a strong impression during his first year on the Boston Comedy Scene, cracking the lineup at several clubs and being selected to play at the Tsonga Center in the Talon Club Comedy Series.
