The Drowsy Chaperone is a parody of American musical comedy of the 1920s. The story concerns a middle-aged, asocial musical theatre fan playing a favorite musical, the fictional 1928 hit: The Drowsy Chaperone. The show comes to life onstage as the fan wryly comments on the music, story, and actors, revealing the personal angst that draws one to escape into the harmless world of musical theatre. A delightful mix of old musical styling with contemporary musical depth.

Start and End Date: Mon. April 15 - Fri. April 19, 2019

Final Performance: Friday, April 19th in the 377 N Main st. Theatre at 4pm

Location: 888 South Main Street Studio
