MMAS Academy Seeking Theatre & Dance Instructors

The MMAS Academy is currently hiring theatre and dance instructors. We are looking specifically to expand our daytime and after school offerings. Candidates with experience in Mommy and Me classes, acting and musical theatre classes for students ages 4-adult are encouraged to apply. Candidates who hold a Master’s degree in theatre/theatre education/directing and/or significant teaching experience at the college-level are welcome to apply to teach Master-level courses. Salary commensurate with experience.

An acting class for students 12 and up that uses contemporary, topical plays by which to teach and practice primary acting skills.

BROADWAY KIDS: Wednesdays from 4:00-5:30

A musical theatre course designed to introduce students to the key areas of musical theatre performance: Singing, dancing, and acting.

The MMAS Jr. Performance Team challenges young aspiring musical theatre performers ages 10-14 to further develop and refine the three key areas of musical theater performance: singing, acting, and dancing.

BROADWAY BABIES: Saturdays: 10:00-10:45

SUGGESTED AGES 4-6

Broadway Babies gives young, curious minds the opportunity to develop their creative muscles. While engaging in the fun activities of play and movement, participants develop the primary skills of storytelling and the beginning steps of performative work.
