Imagine That is an emotional exploration of the music of composer, singer and pianist Jenny Giering. Giering has been described by
Talkin’ Broadway’s Rob Lester as a composer and performer who “makes a strong impact both as a writer and singer, thoughtful and passionate in both roles.

Jennie has received the Clifton Artist in Residence at Harvard University, the Dramatists’ Guild Jonathan Larson Fellowship, Constance Klinsky Prize from Second Stage Theatre, a Meet the Composer grant, the Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation Award and was the composer in residence at Sundance’s Ucross Residency.

Best known for her songs in The Mistress Cycle, Saint- Ex, and Crossing Brooklyn, her music explores love, loss and the hope that connects us all.

Imagine That! will also include songs from musicals currently in development, including Alice Bliss, based on the New York Times best-selling novel about those who are left at home during wartime, and Summerland, about the three Fox sisters from New York who played an important role in the creation of Spiritualism in the 1880s.

The stellar cast includes the recent MMAS Mistress Cycle cast, Ashley Harmon, Katelyn Miller, Kristen Annese, Aleks Donato, Kathleen Hardigan, as well as Ethan Butler, and Ted Zayka from November and Joe Rich from Out of Order.

Join us in celebrating the exceptional talent of this artist and be among the first to hear music from her upcoming shows.
