An integral skill for musical theatre singers is the ability to actively listen to and hear themselves and others while singing. Being able to differentiate and recognize pitch, tuning, harmony, and musical structure sets one singer apart from another; the difference often determines landing a role or not. In this course, participants will engage in exercises to develop and strengthen their audio senses. Studies will include basic music theory, helping participants identify pitch and intervolic changes. In class exercises will transfer to home practice where students will be equipped with the skills to self-reflect on personal pitch, harmony, musical key, and sight-singing. Enhance your skills in this professional level course.
