Take the Stage is a course designed to train young performers in the art of musical theatre performance. It serves to identify, strengthen and enhance each student’s performance skills, self-esteem, and self-expression. Students train and practice choreography, improvisation, acting, staging, and vocal work while preparing to perform before a live audience on the MMAS stage. This fall, students will work on selections from the beloved musical Anastasia, the story of a brave young girl attempting to discover the mystery of her past while finding a place for herself.
