Improvisation & Storytelling

 Improvisation & Storytelling is an ensemble-based class that uses theatre games and improvisation as a springboard to storytelling. A terrific course for the Jr. High and High School student, Improvisation & Storytelling introduces participants to exercises and games that release the creative imagination. With the guidance of the group facilitator, participants devise stories through spoken word, creative movement, and theatrical staging. Improvisation & Storytelling is the perfect offering for the student interested in acting, playwriting, or directing. Improvisation & Storytelling will perform for family and friends in an open classroom setting on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 1:00-2:15 at MMAS’s Arts Center at Great Woods, 888 South Main Street, Mansfield MA 02048.

 Start and End Date: Sept 9, 2017-Dec. 16, 2017

Location: 888 South Main Street, Mansfield MA – MMAS Arts Center at Great Woods

  • Tuition: $220 ($198/10% discount) or
    $57.00/month Sept./Oct./Nov. /December

10% discount for members or 10% discount for siblings. Discounts cannot be used together and discount only applies to full tuition payment.

Minimum Enrollment: 8 participants.
