The Black Box Theater & Morini Gallery    

Last year, MMAS’s Black Box Theater sold almost 5,000 tickets during our seven play season – almost 60% more than the previous year.   Our 4,000 plus distinct patrons and audience members came from Mansfield, Foxboro, Norton, Easton, Sharon and other surrounding communities. They came to enjoy not only our plays but also our eight Back Stage concerts and five art exhibits in the Morini Gallery.

Last year, MMAS was named as one of the top 1,000 places to visit in Massachusetts – the only destination in Mansfield.  The only other local entertainment-oriented place on the list was The Hall at Patriot Place. In June 2011, we were named the Gold Standard for Best Local Theater in the Gatehouse Media Readers’ Choice Awards.

Our website averages 1,000 hits weekly. Patrons go on-line to check out future productions, purchase tickets and get ideas on where to eat before or after visiting our theater. Your business could be a part of this phenomenon. MMAS is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the arts throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. Working together we can promote your business and support our mission.

As a fellow member of the community, we know you receive many requests for sponsorships and donations because we too receive – and give to – many of those same requests.  Outlined below are three different ways you can support MMAS while advertising your own business.  We list these options together so you don’t have to respond to multiple requests and it gives you the opportunity to determine which one (perhaps all,) best fits your marketing plan and budget.  We know you are busy!

There are three ways to put your marketing dollars to work and support MMAS:

  • Become a sponsor. There are multiple levels to choose from (see attached form.)
  • Donate an auction item or service to our annual dinner dance fundraiser held in March. You will receive ad space in the auction booklet commensurate with the value of your donation.
  • Give to our annual campaign. While ticket sales are our primary revenue source, it doesn’t cover all the costs of operating our facility, organizing the Southeastern Mass Arts Festival (held in September and attracting thousands of visitors,) or providing internships to students.   All donors are recognized on our donor page in every program.

An MMAS volunteer will contact you in the next few days to answer any questions you may have about where your marketing and promotion dollars are best spent.  We hope you will support MMAS.

MMAS’s 4000+ patrons come from many surrounding towns and visit the MMAS website regularly.

  • An ad in each play’s program (up to seven total) are 8 ½ by 5 ½ size booklets.
  • An ad in each Back Stage concert program (5 – 7 concerts during the season)
  • Your business’s name listed on our home page under sponsors; comes with a link to your website.  Our website has over 100,000 hits.

 

Bronze Level:  $350 for the season ($50 savings from an individual ad purchase.)

  • Quarter Page ad (5 x 2 ½ inches). Black and white only. Placement is determined by MMAS.

 

Silver Level:  $500 for the season ($100 savings from an individual ad purchase.)

  • Half page ad (5 x 4 inches). Black and white or color. Placement is determined by MMAS.

 

Gold Level: $700 for the season ($350 savings from an individual ad purchase.)

  • Full page ad (8 ½ x 5 inches). Black and white or color. Placement is determined by MMAS.
  • A mention in our annual report.
  • A framed 11 x 16 advertisement/logo hung in our theater concession area.

 

Platinum Level: $2000 for the season….three spots, only one spot left!

  • Placement on front inside cover or back cover – either side.
  • All the benefits of the gold level.
  • Your name and logo listed on MMAS’s home page. On our sponsor page, a full advertisement.

If you sign up for a two year sponsorship all prices are discounted by 25%.

 

Single show or concert ad. You may request a specific show.  No website benefits.
