Our mission is to foster the arts in the community and southeastern Massachusetts and to provide an accessible center for the creation, presentation, display, and education of the arts.
Founded in 1993 to provide a home for the arts. MMAS now operates the Black Box Theater and the Morini Gallery at 377 North Main Street. Under its umbrella the organization has established several groups that call MMAS home. The New England Repertory Company is our in-house theater company producing plays in the Black Box Theater, the MMAS Black Box Theater Company, The Mansfield Artists Association. Our membership dues helps to support our day to day expenses and to fund the programs that help foster the arts in our community.
